Z840 "Smart Cover Sensor" Install

Cable arrived, and "it just works". Here is a (somewhat obvious) install guide and some pics 
To recap, this is adding "Smart Cover" functionality to an Z840. You will just need HP part 628644-001, and about 10 minutes.
For reference, this is said HP part :
Step 1 - Power off your machine
Step 2 - Unplug your machine
Step 3 - Remove the side panel
Step 4 - Remove the lower PCI card access panel
Step 5 - Remove the fan shroud
Step 6 - Remove the power supply unit
Now we can get cracking
Step 7 - Look to the right of where the PSU sits, you'll see the case speaker, and an empty 3 pin adaptor. That's your "Smart Cover" sensor connector (left hand red ring). Also note the "hole" to the lower right of where the PSU sits (right hand red ring).
Step 8 - The black "push pin" part of the sensor cable has a rectangular shape, so it will fit through the far right of the hole, but can only then be "slid left" if you have it oriented the correct way. Once it's slid into place, it should hold nicely, and look thus:
Step 9 - Now connect the cable's 3-pin white connector to the one inside the case, thus:
Step 10 - You'll probably then find the sensor cable merrily sticking into the space where the PSU needs to go. If you're careful, you can "lift up" the clip that holds the case end of the 3-pin adaptor up, remove it, push the sensor wire into the clip, and then replace the case end of the connector, thus:
Step 11 - Re-insert the PSU
Step 12 - Re-insert the fan shroud
Step 13 - Replace the PCI card access panel
Step 14 - Replace the side panel
Step 15 - Reconnect your power cable
Step 16 - Turn on the PC
Step 17 - Hit ESCAPE to get into the startup menu and go into BIOS settings
Does the unit recognise the cable?
Step 18 - Spot this new menu option under "Advanced"
Step 19 - Click into the option and choose if you want an alert, or a full blown "Stop until Admin BIOS password entered" (which I went for):
Step 20 - Save your BIOS settings and let PC reboot, then power down.
Step 21 - Remove case cover and then replace it
Step 22 - Power on
Step 23 - It works!
Step 24 - Press ENTER and enter your Admin BIOS password and continue boot.
I've NOT tried yanking the case off "running" - but I'm happy.
